I’m a writer fine-tuning my debut historical fiction novel, but just as much, I’m a reader and wanderer who can never resist reflecting on the stories that move me, or ramble about the things I’m most passionate about. This Substack will be a place for book reviews, recommendations, and the occasional ramble—whether sparked by a favourite novel, a piece of history, or even the state of the world (yes, George Orwell, I’m looking at you).

Think of this space as part bookish notebook, part literary café table. A place where conversation can wander freely but always circle back to words and their power.

A Bit About Me

Stories have always been a map that I follow. Sometimes to faraway cities, sometimes deeper into myself. Even as a child, I spun tales filled with vivid characters and impossible choices, sharing them with anyone who’d listen.

Through books, I learned to travel in a very different way. To wander across oceans, decades, and dreams. I found history tucked inside old pages and imagined futures folded beneath ink. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just escaping through stories—I was becoming part of them.

Now, as I step into the world as an author, I carry with me the belief that words can transport us, challenge us, and sometimes even save us.
